Wow, I have to say that this one came down to the wire...but City puled in a lot of talent over the transfer window and now have won 2 straight. Are they are top 4 contendor this year?

I'd say definitely. Provided they aren't on a lucky streak. We might have a clearer picture by week 5 or 6.

Torres Ronaldo and Fabregas would make quite a team (imagine if you had them in your five-a-side team!!- that inspires me to start a new thread!) but in other news.... Keegan is back! apparently he didn't resign yesterday the BBC got it wrong... Whether he'll still be there next week I don't know??

It's not so much about the football anymore as the 'assets' I'm sure Keegan agrees as he does actually resign after all citing that he believes managers should have a say in the squad...owners like at Newcastle and Chelsea just want to play at being 'manager' by buying in their favourite players regardless - if man city try that they will have to do it without Mark Hughes I fear...

Looks like Man City is going after Buffon. Buffon is denying it for now ... The next transfer window is gonna make for an exiting spectacle..thats for sure.
