National team squad features seven players from MLSU.S. under-20 national team head coach Thomas Rongen has finalized the 21-player roster that will represent the United States at the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup from Sept. 24-Oct. 16 in Egypt. The roster features a blend of professional and collegiate players, including two players with prior U-20 World Cup experience in UCLA goalkeeper Brian Perk and FC Dallas defender Anthony Wallace. The squad features seven players from Major League Soccer, including five from FC Dallas -- Wallace, goalkeeper Josh Lambo, defender Kyle Davies and forwards Brek Shea and Peri Marosevic. USA U20 3-0 Northern Ireland U20: USA Youth Capture Milk Cup TitleA trio of scorers give the Americans the Milk Cup title.The U.S. cruised to their second Milk Cup Elite Section championship over the home side, Northern Ireland, on Friday. The Thomas Rongen led U-20 squad won 3-0 thanks to goals from Gale Agbossoumonde, Juan Agudelo, and Adrian Ruelas. The Milk Cup is an international youth tournament held annually in Northern Ireland.
