The English FA have managed to get N.Ireland, Scotland (reluctantly) and Wales to agree to allow and England team to represent Great Britain in the 2012 London Olympics. Whether this will happen at subsequent games is unknown as yet.. The team will apparently be made up of the under England 21 squad: news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympic_games/8076346.stmUnfortunately the political wranglings with the other UK FA's has left a bit of a sour taste - in truth the Welsh, Scottish and N.Ireland FA's have little to do as their domestic leagues are low-key, even Scotland really has only two domestic teams of note - the national team is their main focus and to relinquish representation to England, though inevitable, has brought out some major ill-feelings.
