Attacking midfielder Minh Vu and forward JC Banks scored a goal in each half to pace the visiting Rhinos. Charlotte Eagles Set To Host Fire Reserves Charlotte took pair of victories in interleague games last season Charlotte Eagles News Release -- www.charlotteeagles.comThursday, April 24, 2014 CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Eagles will face the Chicago Fire Reserves for the third time in league play in two years this Friday night at 7 p.m. ET. The Eagles will get a small change of scenery when they make the short trip to UNC-Charlotte and play at Transamerica Field. The Eagles and Fire last met in the 2013 USL PRO regular season and the match resulted in a 2-1 victory for the Eagles. The Eagles scored two second-half goals with Ben Newnam tallying the game-winner in the 75th minute. The goal for the Fire Reserves came from Quincy Amarikwa and was assisted by Wells Thompson.
