New York Red Bulls ready to launch USL PRO side in 2015: "We see it as a big, big advantage"If all goes according to plan, the New York Red Bulls will soon follow the footsteps of the LA Galaxy and field a team in USL PRO. Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh said at the club’s media day on Tuesday that New York are currently well into the process of launching a third-division side, set to begin play next year. Roxburgh told reporters back in December that the Red Bulls had explored the possibility of launching a USL PRO club for 2014, but that they were not able to finalize the plans in time. www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2014/03/05/new-york-red-bulls-ready-launch-usl-pro-side-2015-we-see-it-big-big-advantag

Red Bulls Reserves Down Dutch Lions Stevenson has goal, assist as New York takes 3-0 victory Sunday, March 30, 2014 HARRISON, N.J. – Eric Stevenson had a goal and assist as the New York Red Bulls Reserves took a 3-0 victory against the Dayton Dutch Lions on Sunday evening in the first interleague contest between teams from the MLS Reserve League and USL PRO this season. All three goals for the Red Bulls came in the second half, as Michael Bustamante, pictured, and Matt Miazga also found the back of the net for the hosts. The first half was played evenly, and the Dutch Lions came out with positive energy in their first game of the season. Dayton looked to stretch the field in possession as it tried to put on loan Columbus Crew forward Ryan Finley and fellow strikers Eli Garner and Cameron Vickers in dangerous positions, but the Dutch Lions were unable to force a serious save from Red Bulls goalkeeper Ryan Meara. uslpro.uslsoccer.com/home/798223.html
