Chicago Fire part ways with head coach Frank Klopas, president of soccer ops Javier LeonThe Chicago Fire announced on Wednesday that head coach Frank Klopas and president of soccer operations Javier Leon have stepped down effective immediately. The club will begin the search for their replacements, but no timetable has been set for the new appointments, according to a statement posted on the Fire's official site. Fire Hire Frank Yallop Two-time MLS Cup Champion and MLS Coach of the Year to Lead Men in RedCHICAGO, Ill. The Watford, England native and former Canadian international defender has won two MLS Cup Championships as a coach, and has twice been named MLS Coach of the Year. “In this league it’s all about competing and winning at a consistent level,” said Chicago Fire owner Andrew Hauptman. “Frank is a proven winner with a tremendous soccer pedigree as both a player and as a coach. He has won at the MLS level and coached on the interational stage.
