Final: CHV 3, NY 2 Chivas USA defeat the New York Red Bulls 3-2 at the StubHub CenterCARSON, Calif. -- Chivas USA made sure to prevent another club record-setting winless streak, capping their three-game home stand with a 3-2 victory against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday afternoon at StubHub Center. Erick “Cubo” Torres cashed in a rebound to give the Rojiblancos a two-goal lead in the 81st minute before Dax McCarty got the Red Bulls back to within one five minutes later. Bobby Burling cleared a dangerous shot from Tim Cahill in stoppage time to preserve the win. The Goats (5-14-6) snapped their four-match winless drought, this after suffering a string of 14 earlier this season.
