Rochester Rhinos will serve as affiliate to New England RevolutionAfter months of negotiations and speculation, Major League Soccer and the United Soccer Leagues announced a multi-year affiliation agreement Wednesday that partners USL PRO teams, including the Rochester Rhinos, for the upcoming season with MLS clubs. Team president Pat Ercoli said the Rhinos will be paired in 2013 with the New England Revolution, who are based in Foxborough, Mass., and will carry at least four Revs players on loan on their roster. The MLS-USL agreement also includes home-and-home series between USL squads and the reserve squad of MLS teams, which are usually younger, developmental players. www.democratandchronicle.com/article/A2/20130123/SPORTS05/301230037/Rochester-Rhinos-New-England-Revolution-MLS-US-Pro-soccer
