Casey out for the year with torn Achilles
Team leading scorer set for surgery Wednesday, could be out eight months
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Tuesday, July 19, 2011) – Colorado Rapids forward Conor Casey will miss the remainder of the 2011 season after suffering a torn left Achilles tendon during the Rapids match on Saturday at Seattle Sounders FC.
