Impact sign multimedia deal, name TVA Sports broadcaster
Montreal partner with Quebecor Media Group ahead of MLS debut MONTREAL — The Montreal Impact and the Quebecor Media Group announced a five-year partnership on Thursday as the team prepares to join Major League Soccer in 2012, and TVA Sports has been named the official broadcaster of the club. FRÉDÉRIC LORD AND OLIVIER BRETT, THE NEW IMPACT VOICES AT TVA SPORTSMONTREAL - Frédéric Lord and Olivier Brett will be the new voices of the Impact on TVA Sports, the club’s new official broadcaster for Major League Soccer (MLS), in 2012. Frédéric Lord will handle the play-by-play duties, while Olivier Brett will be the analyst. The new duo will begin work on Sept. 13 for UEFA Champions League games. The Montreal announces its 2012 broadcast schedule
For the first time in club history, all games will be broadcast live on television MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact released its complete 2012 broadcast schedule Thursday, including 22 games on TVA Sports, the club’s official broadcaster, along with 12 games on RDS/TSN, the league’s official broadcaster. For the first time in club history, all games will be broadcast live on television. On April 7, the game versus Toronto FC at Olympic Stadium will kickoff at noon ET instead of 1pm. On July 4, the match in Kansas City will move from 7:30pm to 7pm.
