Well we're up and running again...
Mark Hughes is managing to keep his managerial role at Man City even though there were rumors of his demise before he even took a game last season.. he is adding Gareth Barry to his squad at a wage rumored to be around £100,000 a week... $140,000??
Villa are though to be after Huddlestone to replace him (Tottenham)
Man City are also reported to be closing on Tevez... and Samuel Eto'o
Ancelloti's move from Milan to Chelsea is sparking all sorts of rumors that Kaka, Pirlo etc.. may follow him, but Kaka seems set to go to Real Madrid who are still looking to bring Ronaldo over - Chelsea have bid £70m ($100m) for Kaka and are banking on Madrid not being able to meet his personal terms - Kaka and Ronaldo combined would cost Madrid an absolute fortune maybe around $300,000 - it seems unlikely that any team (other than Man City...) could afford such an investment.
It is thought that Pato could be on Chelsea's shopping list (a better investment in my opinion) and also Glen Johnson (Portsmouth) who scored a midfielder's wondergoal last season that rivals Rooney's volley against Newcastle from the season before (if I find links I might post them...)
There are so many more rumors, I can't possibly keep up with them all, for those in the US, the rumor is that DaMarcus Beasley will be leaving Rangers possibly heading for Europe (Netherlands)

Well the dust has settled and the Premiership is under way - last years drop-outs West Brom and Newcastle are leading the Championship on course for a quick return - The Premiership is making a lot of news with the big buying of Man City looking like it could pay off this year - Man City are looking like a real threat to the top four, although they have seriously over-rated Jolien Lescott IMHO - Their forwards are looking confident and competent and they have a midfield to back them up.
Man U are relying on Rooney to fill Ronaldo's boots we will wait to see whether that is a bit of a gamble, I'm happy to see Michael Owen at Man U, he will score goals for sure - still not so convinced about Berbatov, when he's up for it he's fantastic - when he's not he is worse than useless - at least that passion is never missing from Rooney's game.
Tottenham are looking good this season, Harry R has done a great job there, Defoe is looking unstoppable - I think there will be an upset in the 'big four' this year.
